Recently I got a long-service award at work - one of the gift options was money (though I could have gone for golfing, beer or BBQ equipment...), so I decided to treat myself to some of these taller Faerysteps boots, while a limited run were happening (and these were the only ones in my size, too ;) )

Spun this lot recently - already made it into something (pics to follow).
This was an experiment to see if I could do a better job than previously when spinning cotton - a success, but when plied with silk, you can't really see it. Ah well! Nice yarn in the end, which is the main thing.
