Serenity and craftiness

Watched Serenity at forbiddendanish's yesterday in HD, with a group of "Browncoats" - shiney!

Also, crafty projects for those as is interested:

• Ocean Shore cabled socks
  
• Aqua yarn, made from wool from Burpham Court Farm
  
• Dyed Southdown wool from the same farm...
  
• more dyed wool, this is Leicester Longwool which does this pretty ringlet effect thing

oooh, Aqua yarn is pretty! Any ideas what you'll use it for? & the dyed Leicester is sooo pretty with its ringlets! Seems a shame to card & spin it! Looks rather like an anemone or something tentacular! :)

Aqua is turning into gloves soon - I wasn't sure if it was even enough for socks, but it's nice and soft. So Should work OK.

Not decided yet what to do with the "ringlets" - we should do needlefelt critters / mythical creatures or people. It would apply well as hair/manes and stuff. *ponders*
