T1 convention

Looks like you can now book for T1, a Starfury convention next year (covers Chuck, Dollhouse and Dr Horrible!)
Guestlist looks good, though would expect last-minute changes. Should still be fun though and the party themes are interesting.

Slightly unrelatedly! Are you guys going to Expo next weekend? We're (me, Luke and my mate Ben) are heading up to London riday night for Video Games Live and then spending the weekend at the Expo :)

I'm trying to find out just how many people are going! So excited to spend a weekend nerding out :D

And what's all that about "you buy a ticket which entitles you to a programme which allows you entry to the dealers room, one free signature and the parties" ... it's so ... tacky :-) ... it *sounds* like some far too clever way of avoiding *something* ... just sell a ticket or a membership, what's with buying "a programme"?

You have to bear in mind that Starfury do "media cons" not fancons.
You are basically signing up to get a set of signatures and go to some guest Q & As.
Sounds tacky and commercialised, but each one I've been to has been great fun and the core group of people that turn up to them are a lovely lot :D

On a cost/benefit basis, I decided I'd only do another Starfury 'Con as crew, and if they think they've got enough techmonkeys, that's their business.

Already booked :-). I've already been to LOADS of Starfury events and they are always a blast. With Adam and Summer currently listed as guests and the addition of 'Dr Horrible', it's almost a Firefly cast reunion [GG].

I notice they don't have anyone from Terminator actually booked, perhaps now Fox has given the go ahead for a full season they aren't so available.
