Wool processing
Dec. 9th, 2008 12:24 pmWas using up another day of holiday yesterday - took a trip to Sussex with
masterofapath to visit a farm that will process wool for spinners (with no minimum amount ;)). Left the fleece that
omylouse got me a while back to be processed. This was the really nice, soft Bluefaced Leicester one that, while nice, looks like a bad 80s perm and takes ages to pick apart by hand til in a fit state to card and use.
Have been assured the end result won't be perfect, but still means I should be able to USE it :)
Since we were in the right general area, we visited
luckykaa for tea, chat and making use of local Japanese restaurant of yumminess.

It *almost* feels like cheating and not doing the process myself, but to be honest at the rate of progress I was making, it wasn't worth it!
