Wow! I never thought to see a bit of heathland being regained.

I used to live in Liphook (before their A3 by-pass) and Greyshott (just off A3 at Hindhead) and Guildford (uni) so I am very keen to see what they've done and where the road is now. It's been a long, long time coming.

Wow, I'm sure it's the right thing to do but I'm gonna miss driving that road!
