What a busy Saturday! Went to London to watch the Tour prologue. Huge crowds but well managed and lots of police about.

Sat under a tree in Hyde Park right on the route and Julian took lots of pictures. Nice people to sit near - on one side some cycling enthusiasts, and on the other some amusing Australians who'd taken a complete picnic (including wineglasses), but were thwarted by sheer weight of crowds from their quest of buying more beer, as they ran out!

Headed off to Brixton for a "Browncoat" friend's birthday bash. Great people, nice buffet and live music performed by several groups the birthday bloke new (and he performed in a bit of it too!).
Talked to a couple of people working on Dr Who/Torchwood, which was interesting.. have now seen a tiny phone-size "teaser" pic of James Marsters' Torchwood costume, though just the gun and a wrist-cover. They also had a few clothes pegs and a tent peg (all wooden) left behind after the "Hooverville" set was dismantled.

Got back very late so having quiet Sunday.
Must watch videoed Tour and see if we were on it anywhere ;)
