weekend and Tour De France amusement

tictactoeponyDid a Brighton visit yesterday - weather awful on way down. Didn't do very much - messed around a bit by the sea ( ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
luckykaa and masterofapath paddled!), ate icecream then returned to luckykaa's for food and tv.
Watched some Garth Merenghi's Dark Place, Black Adder (with "Bob") then The Fifth Element. Which is so bizarre in terms of what happens and the outlandish costumes thatsquirrel_dreams seemed most amused.
Thing to watch out for today - Tour De France, ivt4 at 7pm - today's stage goes through Carcasonne so look out for scenery familiar from the boardgame ;)
[Update] they didn't bother mentioning it at all in the edited highlights programme (unless I totally missed it due to cutting out a sewing pattern at the same time!) - bah.
