That was a fun but busy weekend!
Organised a small-scale "Browncoats" event at a pub on Friday. 9 people turned up, one was a "new recruit" female programmer geek (probably should have spoken to her more rather than tried to make paper bikinis for toy dinosaurs...).Did a bit of shopping on Saturday, helped

cath_er_ine buy some dressmaking stuff and a bikini.

lemming_man and

luckykaa both escaped part-way through Saturday to go to respective parental birthday celebrations.

cath_er_ine and

chocojon stayed a bit longer and watched Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels, both quoting the whole thing almost word for word (which was a bit scarey).

chocojon then headed off home and we watched "Clerks" as

cath_er_ine had not seen any Kevin Smith films before.

masterofapath helped her the next morning with the first part of her dressmaking project - deciphering the truely hateful cutting-out instructions. They were NOT good!
