tictactoeponyMore pretty homemade things - I've been busy again!
Firstly - this top, piece of silk and chunk of wool were all dyed with the same stuff..... a dye I made from boiling up a bag of mixed frozen berries designed for cooking! (Blackberries, blackcurrants, cherries, blueberries, grapes):
Pretty - seems ph dependent though, the top was purple-pink until washed and rinsed.
Wool is quite a different shade.
This lot of yarn was made from some Wensleydale (wool, not the cheeese!) bought back in October at an event in Alexandra Palace:
Not as fluffy and stretchy as other stuff I've worked with - may be made into gloves or something.
