Torchwood :) :)

Very enjoyable!
Seems they definitely had time and scriptwriting ability. Addition of James Marsters definitely helped, most fun! ("Noo... it's a poodle!").
Seemed to be less time spent on pointless moody angst, though there was still some of it.
Other plotlines I'd like to see:
* What happened when Jack was away and the team was quasi-competent and not needing someone to fix everything
* Backstory spinoff Jack/John time-agent scammers
Liked the Whedon-related nods - how many did you spot? Western-style clothing, "Vera", knock-out lipgloss. And Buffy-like reference, maybe, that it would be nice if there was a blond(e) team member.
Bonus points for a line of enquiry starting "have you seen a blowfish in a sports-car?"
