Gloves made using Broad Street Mittens pattern, they are fingerless but with a outer "shell" so you don't have to take them off to get out your train ticket, for example.
I modified the pattern to use smaller needles (2.5mm and 3mmm) as they are designed to fit a man or a large-handed woman! They are still a bit big for me but it was all an experiment really.
I used small ceramic beads instead of buttons, because the colours seemed to match nicely.

In mitten mode.

Buttoned back..
